Our collective creates abstract constructions in large-scale painterly installations by collaging urban materials collected from streets and construction sites during walks "in the interstices of everyday life." Our work combines recognizable spontaneity with provisional shelters, pushing painting beyond two dimensions into space. The collaborative process encompasses everything from gathering and combining materials to composition and lighting.
"For us, painting has opened up—moving from two dimensions into space. We collect materials and found objects from the urban environment; the act of searching and finding is already part of the process. Through spontaneous combination, a kind of painting without a fixed surface emerges—free in space. The process is shaped by experimenting, discarding, discussing, and deciding. Unlike classical painting, it is not only about seeing, but also about walking through, feeling, smelling, and experiencing the space." — Klub 7
